FALL MUSIC FESTIVAL

The  annual    Fall   Music   Festival   in   mid-September offered a chance for friends to socialize while listening to great music, eating good food and raising money for the South Acworth Village Store.

Over $1,100 was raised through donations, bake sale, other food sales from the grill outdoors and purchases of 800 daffodil bulbs that had been donated to the Acworth Conservation Commission by NH the Beautiful, an organization dedicated to promoting a litter-free state.

Various styles of music played by talented local musicians kept spectators entertained throughout the afternoon.

Slideshow of the Village Store Music Festival

A new act livened up the show toward the  end of  the festival.  Madison Lord,  Sophie Bushey,  Clara Miller and Sara Marsden, decked out in oversized sunglasses, neckties and do-whackity hairdos, sang a spirited acapella version of Buttercup.

Thanks to the musicians who made the festival a success:

· Jeff & Dylan Withers
· Don Place & Jerry Lynch
· Mike & Lillie LeBlanc
· Bill Symonds & Rob Baker
· Victor Brandt
· Will Turner, Lonn Livengood & Charlie Brown
· John Luther, Lonn Livengood, Joel Eaton & Rob Baker
· Madison Lord, Clara Miller, Sophie Bushey & Sara Marsden
· Actones
· Cold River Ranters

Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped arrange the festival, and to Bret and Mary Lord for once again offering up their front lawn.

Please remember to support the South Acworth Village Store.
