Tuesday, November 4. Polls are open at the Acworth Town Hall 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
Voters may register on election day at the polling place. The Town Clerk's office can inform voters of what they should bring to register. REFASHIONING WORKSHOP:
Saturday November 8, in Warner, NH, Alice Fogel will be offering a refashioning workshop, with ideas, demos, inspiration, instruction, and more. All day or as long as you want to stay. Call for more info. 603-835-6783.
LIBRARY ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR
VETERANS DINNER:
The scouts of the area are proud to invite veterans and their spouses to a beef stew dinner in celebration of Veterans Day. The Eleventh Annual Veterans Dinner will be held on Saturday November 8 at 6:00 PM in the Church on the Hill in Acworth. HOLIDAY SHOPPING IN ALSTEAD:
Shop early and avoid the rush at two holiday fairs in Alstead on November 15. At the Vilas Gymnasium from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the Alstead Primary School PTO will host their third Annual One-Stop Shopping event. Several local vendors will be on hand selling crafts, jewelry, and much more. There will also be a bake sale, light luncheon, raffle, free gift wrapping, and a craft table to occupy children while you shop. All proceeds will be used to benefit students at the Alstead Primary School. For more information, contact Suzanne at 603-499-6204. Also, just down the road at the Third Congregational Church (14 River Street), The Guild is hosting a Holiday Bazaar downstairs in the church from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. MONADNOCK WALDORF SCHOOL'S CRAFTS FAIR & FESTIVAL:
NIA CLASSES IN ACWORTH:
Michele Turner teaches Nia classes in the Acworth Town Hall on Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30 – 6:30 PM.
The cost is $6.00 per class and participants are asked to bring a yoga mat. The first class is free, no experience necessary and drop-ins are welcome.
GENTLE NIA CLASSES IN ACWORTH:
This class is for anyone regardless of age or ability. The class focus is on flexibility and comfort in the joints and throughout the body. Gentle NIA is a gradual, concentrated, non-impact approach to exercise. Come

CARVING CLUB:
The Acworth Carving Club meets every Monday night from 7:00 – 8:30 in Grant Taylor’s stone studio on Tucker Road in South Acworth. The Carving Club is open to the public and free of charge.
TAI CHI:
Wednesdays at 7:00 PM in Acworth Town Hall, Tai Chi class taught by Olga Bassinne. Cost is $5.00 per class. Wear loose comfortable clothing.
